Objects Synced on the Same Board

The ability to have objects mirror one another on the same board or on different boards would be extremely helpful. From looking through the articles it doesn’t look like this has been a feature that has been worked on at this point.

@Krista Lewis - This Wish List idea is quite similar to yours - you may want to leave comments on/upvote it: https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/copy-edit-objects-by-reference-instance-1008

BUMP

Mirror Tool would be epic. The amount of time it’s taking me to re-configure an image to fit an exact matching pattern for my graphics and clothing designs is becoming too much to handle.

Miro! Please add a Mirror Tool to this AMAZING platform. Thank you!!!!!!

You can now mirror items and their selected properties with Sync Items! 🎉

https://miro.com/marketplace/sync-items/

Group items, such as sticky notes, cards, shapes, text boxes, or images, and choose exactly which of their properties, text, colour, size, tags, links, and more, stay aligned.

Use two-way for co-creation; switch to one-way when you need a single source of truth.

Available on all plans!

Key benefits

  • Surgical consistency: Sync exactly the properties you care about (e.g., colour, size, tags, text, links).

  • Multi-directional control: Pick one-way to enforce a master element or two-way to let any copy drive updates.

  • Faster workflows: No more hunt-and-replace; updates propagate instantly on the same board.

  • Fits every moment: Template curation and dashboards prefer one-way; ceremonies and brainstorming thrive with two-way.
