If you want to jam AI into your product like everyone else - by all means - but could you maybe provide a way to opt out? Adobe has made their software virtually unusable with all the AI crap they have bloated their software with and that they have put it front and center and took the actual useful tools and buried them in hidden menus. Let’s not follow in their footsteps. At least give us the option to disable AI so we can actually get our work done. If I wanted an uphelpful intern, I would hire one.

Use case: I’m looking for a collaborative whiteboarding solution for my gamedev team. I was like “oh I’ve joined miro boards for conferences before, I bet it’d work great!” but being met with AI junk front-and-center has completely derailed me and I’ll be looking for a different solution. I know I’m only a drop in the bucket, but the AI features existing and being spotlighted has turned one essentially-guaranteed teamwide adoption into a hard pass.
I don’t find AI useful for the work I do in Miro. Furthermore, and more seriously, some of my projects come require a pledge NOT to use any form of AI. I would be much more comfortable with Miro if I could turn it off, so I didn’t have to worry about it at all.
I’m going to go crazy if I get another pop up that asks me to connect my AI tools. I don’t use them.
Give the option to strip out all the AI crap. It’s an expensive, useless, bubble, and trying to force it down our throats won’t work, get rid please.
I notice that the Enterprise level admins get to disable lots of AI features. Why can’t I, as a small business owner make the same decisions about how to run my company? This is tantamount to an ultimatum, we will shove AI in your face unless you pay us lots of money to turn it off. Don’t be evil like this. AI is a dead duck, please let me create my diagrams in peace.
