Hi,
when it comes to highlighting of text the pen tool should recognized that there is text for instance on stickies.
It should highlight the text in a straigth line just like the text is placed.
And it should put the highlightcolour behind the text so the text is not disturbed by the effect.
The animation shows like it should work:
