Link to view

The same way I can set a starting view I would like to be able to link to a specific view.

Sometimes it’s handy to have not just the starting view but other views that show larger portions of the board rather than just a frame. Frame on frames don’t work so well especially when we use different background colours in them.

Ideally I’d like to be able to right-click on the board and have an additional context menu “Copy link to current view” next to “Set current view as start”. Then I can use that link on other objects which might zoom in and out.

Was it helpful?

@andyvdg -

Wouldn’t a link to a view just be the Miro link reference for an object? That is a fully formed URL so you could give that to someone to be able to zoom directly to it as opposed to being directed to the start view?

I agree that being able to link to specific view or object that generates a unique URL would be very helpful.  Especially in scenarios where multiple frames/sections are in one board.
