[ Integration ] Export as dynamic image link

This feature request aims to achieve better integration abilities.

There is an already existing feature called embed, allowing to embed miro editable boards or frames into a third party tool. However, this features fails to answer a very important use case.
In order for miro boards to be easily usable within information tools such as notion, jira, gitlab, you name it, we should be able to embed an directly.
The image export feature could back us up, but as it exports a static image, it does not meet the reality of project management, where we constantly adjust our architectures / mind maps / release plans / strategies…

What would be a good feature would be to export a frame to dynamic image link.
We would obtain an url, which when accessed would display an image of the latest state of the frame.
This way, we could integrate miro within our information systems.

A neat addition is to be able to detect when the image is open in a new tab and then to redirect to the editor to the corresponding frame, but that’s just sugar.

Thanks :)

This is a feature that we’ve severely lacking after Lucidchart.

We’re migrating hundreds (if not thousands) of diagrams that we embed as images into our Confluence pages.

Miro supports exporting frames as images, but since our diagrams are being edited all the time, it’s a huge time loss to manually export the image every time in order to import it into Confluence.

We’d really love Miro to provide an ability to get dynamic image URLs that we can paste into our documentation.

It's been 3 years, and still no reply!!!

It's obvious that adding frames to the Miro board from inside the Confluence is a simple task for the Miro team, requiring minimal effort. However, the user experience remains poor:

  1. If a frame is named with a long sentence, the full name isn’t visible.
  2. The frame size in Confluence is fixed to predefined T-shirt sizes.

The best they can do is remove the surrounding bars from the frame and prevent it from being easily moved while scrolling the mouse. A kind of 'frozen presentation mode' would be ideal, where the frame fills the entire image area.

Using an image URL with a dynamic, fluid image behind it would require the Miro team to handle real-time exporting and caching the outcome, which is likely why they're ignoring these requests. Unless, of course, they don't see how brilliant the ultimate solution could be allowing integrations in any possible place with no need for Miro plugins.
