As a Agile Coach who facilitates workshops, meetings, and runs training sessions

I want flippable cards, where text, backgrounds, images, etc. are editable on each side independently

so that I can simulate playing cards, flash cards, index cards, planning poker, delegation poker, moving motivators, etc. cards

This could also be beneficial for people looking to run other types of games in Miro as well

 

MVP:

can create a flippable card

can customize each side

can ‘play’ card one direction and then flip it to see the other side

 

Large Feature AC:

easily create multiple cards of the same size and shape 

ability to create set of cards with one side (the ‘back’ of the card) the same text/image/etc.

cards can be organized into ‘decks’ or ‘packs’

cards can be ‘shuffled’

cards can be dealt face down or face up

ability to look at ‘private hand’ of the cards and sort, organize, etc

Hi all, I'm excited to share an update here! We have recently released a public beta for the new Flip Card widget. This widget allows you to create flippable cards with a title and text on both sides. Both the color and orientation of Flip cards can be customized. Learn more in the Intelligent Widgets documentation in the Miro Help Center.

As mentioned, this new widget is currently in beta, which means it is available today for all customers whose orgs have not opted out of all betas. If you don't see this feature available in your boards please get in contact with your company admin to discuss opting in to the Miro public beta program.

With this in mind, we will update the status of this request to Beta. We'll keep you updated when this new feature moves out of beta and is officially delivered.

Great! Next desirable upgrade is customizing the font, background, adding images directly onto the flip cards :)
