Feature request: Restrict team admins from assigning admin rights to other users

We would like to request a permission setting that ensures only Company Admins can assign or remove Team Admin roles.

Currently, Team Admins are able to promote other users within their team to become Team Admins as well. In our organization, we want to restrict this capability to maintain better control over administrative access.

What we want:

  • Team Admins should be able to add and manage team members.

  • However, they should not be able to make other users Team Admins.

  • Only Company Admins should have the right to assign or revoke Team Admin roles.

Example:

  • Jane is a Team Admin of the “Marketing Projects” team.

  • She can add new users like John and Sarah to the team.

  • However, she should not be able to promote John or Sarah to Team Admin.

  • Only a Company Admin can make someone a Team Admin, including Jane.

This feature would improve governance in larger organizations by preventing uncontrolled distribution of admin privileges across teams.
