I’m interested in creating Entity Relationship Diagrams in Miro, and I’ve seen a template for them, but I think a major thing missing is crow’s foot notation which shows cardinality in the relationship.

I would love to see this kind of notation added to the list of arrows and other end-points that you can put on connector lines.

I love Miro and would prefer to use it for any types of diagramming, but for people who need to use this kind of notation to make content and data models, Lucid Chart has the market. If Miro can get on board with the means to create more technical diagrams, even just beginning with these notations, I think they would be able to engage many more users.

If anyone has figured out a work-around for this, I would love to hear how.

Here are a couple of articles worth reading for more understanding of how Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) can be useful for designers.

Great product 🙂 This gap is also preventing us from using Miro for entity relationship diagrams.

WTF?!?!!? More than a YEAR and over 200 upvotes and countless LIKES?

If you’re serious about having Miro be a “standard tool” for pm-dev-and design -- this is MUST HAVE.

OMG ADD THIS !!!

Adding my voice to this wish list item. Otherwise, I’ll have to use Visio, which hurts the case for keeping my team using Miro

Please add crow’s feet as line ending options? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I would love to see this too, it would be great for conceptual modelling in particular.

Its much easier to make a diagram look nice in Miro compared with other tools, but it needs to be able to easily convey the necessary information.

How sad is this Miro? We’re a third of the way through our Tech Stack Modernization project and have done and required our partners to do EVERYTHING documentation wise in Miro. Now it’s time for future state ERDs and guess what, you still don’t have ERDs and our partner says, “I’ll use Lucid Chart to make the ERDs”. Truly a shame. Very disappointed.

Hi Miro team! Any updates on this one. I was just create a data model and would love the standard notation added to the options for the line end (just underneath the arrow, diamond, circle options that are already there would be fine)

We worked out if we had text to other side of the line and drag it to the end it kind of works. But the crow’s foot is not really a crows foot… and this is also very manual.

Please, pretty please! More generally, it would be nice to have the whole Salesforce Architect notation, to not let Lucidchart get ahead of you guys!
