Enable Parent-Child relations using Jira-Cards

Hi Miro Support team,

bigger companies are using different planning levels in jira. Atlassian Jira comes with Parent-Child Links to create a Work Breakdown Structure from top level topics to the working level. (#Advance Roadmap plans with aggregation features and roll up values). They are differnent from simple issue links. But similar to EpicLink. Hierachy levels above EPIC are using Parent-Child links.

This is a core feature from Atlassian Jira and Advanced Roadmap was as well included into Jira long time ago. Check as well Atlassian docu.

Please provide (similar to EpicLink) the possibility to use Parent-Child links.

    I upvoted this but also highly agree with the comment. The Parent link is fairly important. We have stories parented that way to epics and then higher. If those relationships were supported then it would be fairly trivial to populate a Miro board from what we currently have in Jira and visualize the relationships - so not only am i eager to see this, it is causing me pains that it is not there today.

      Fulfilling this request would be very beneficial. We use Jira Epic Link on every ticket. This would improve the efficiency of the team by allowing them to quickly identify the stories which are part of the same group. Currently, they have to spend precious time and brainpower deciphering the relationships. 

       

      Please ensure this is built out for use in conjunction with Jira “Company-managed projects” and not just Jira “Team-managed projects”.  

       

      I am looking forward to this idea becoming a reality!
