Many (myself included) like the “sloppy” shapes available in Excalidraw. Currently, using Caveat, it is possible to get a hand-drawn look-and-feel for text, but not for shapes and connectors. I know of many who prefer Excalidraw over Miro mainly because of the look and feel of the drawing.

It would be really convenient to have that style as an option in Miro.

Same here. I am finding myself switching to Excalidraw to generate graphics just because of the look and feel of it.

Adding myself to the ‘wishlist’ as well. I totally agree with @Fredrik Folkeryd and @Miguel Martinez!

Could you add the sloppy style to miro, please! :-)

Adding myself here too as I also end up using Excalidraw for these grahics

This is common in other systems like draw.io, excalidraw and some others that use rough.js.

I’d love to get at least the draw.io sketch style available in Miro.

This style has gotten so popular and so useful as a communication style that I just can’t use Miro anymore.  :(

Hi @Fredrik Folkeryd

The following idea has been merged into this idea:

All the votes from the other post have been transferred into this idea.

Also, I have updated the title to - Different styling, especially Sketch or "Sloppy" line style as an option to reflect the suggestion.

Thanks again for contributing to the community!

Being forced to use miro instead of draw.io by my new employer, I heavily miss this feature as a method to communicate (unfinished) ideas. It seems I’ll be forced to switch my employer to draw.io ...

You can embed draw.io in miro https://miro.com/marketplace/draw-io/ … perhaps a path until Miro release a sketch option (please hurry up miro team!)
