@Eca Please fix asap!
This is not an “idea”, this is a bug / hygiene factor that is EXTREMELY annoying and makes the Mac App kind of unusable to work with.
I need to reformat EVERY bit of text that I copy into my boards, because it will always come with background color and different colours.
☹️

Just enable command + shift + v= raw value.

I found a way to bypass this by changing `copyWithSyntaxHighlighting` to false in VSCode.

Just enable command + shift + v= raw value.

hi! how do i do this?

I’m with @pabb  on this @Eca , Cmd + Shift + V not working isn’t just a missing feature, it’s a bug.

Across most apps and platforms, Cmd + Shift + V is the standard for “paste without formatting.” It’s one of those deeply ingrained shortcuts people rely on without thinking, especially in workflows that involve moving content between tools. When it doesn’t work, it breaks flow in a way that feels unintuitive and inconsistent with user expectations.

Right now, having to manually strip formatting or use workarounds adds friction to something that should be seamless. This isn’t about adding a niche shortcut, it’s about aligning with a widely adopted convention that users already expect to just work.

Enabling Cmd + Shift + V would make Miro feel more predictable, more efficient, and more in line with the rest of the modern tool ecosystem.
