As a Product Manager, we are looking to create larger diagrams about systems, technical infrastructure, user flows etc.. There are two main challenges:

  1. Adding / removing nodes in a diagram possibly requires a lot of manual moving around and re-layouting to make the diagram layout look nice again.
  2. Ideally, we would like to have a single high-level diagram that can be broken down into lower-level diagrams using layers. BUT when hiding a bunch of layers, all nodes are suddenly dispersed across a huge canvas.

Solution: Auto-layouting functionalities - at least via button-click or after editing - for the “diagrams” Miro type. Using auto-layout, I can make sure that diagrams always look nice even after making a change to it, or even when filtering out some layers.

Bonus points if I don’t need to any click “auto-layout” when toggling layers on/off.
