We would like to submit a formal feature request for audit visibility into MCP (Model Context Protocol) activity in Miro.
Request
Provide audit logging for all activity performed through MCP connections, with the ability to access it via audit logs in the admin console and via APIs/exports.
Requirements
- Audit log coverage: Log MCP-initiated actions (e.g., read, create, edit, delete, share) alongside existing audit events.
- Attribution: Each event should identify the user, the MCP client/application or AI agent, the board/resource accessed, the action taken, and a timestamp.
- Distinguishing MCP activity: Make it possible to tell MCP/AI-driven actions apart from direct user actions.
- API access: Expose MCP activity logs through an API so they can be pulled into our SIEM and monitoring tools.
- Export: Support bulk export (e.g., CSV/JSON) for compliance reviews and investigations.
Business justification
As MCP adoption grows, we need visibility into what AI tools and agents are doing with our Miro data. Without it, we cannot meet internal security, compliance, and audit requirements, investigate incidents, or confidently permit wider MCP usage.
What we need from Miro
- Confirmation of whether this capability is on your roadmap.
- A tentative ETA for delivery.
- Any interim options or workarounds available today.
Please confirm receipt and share the request or tracking reference number so we can follow up.
