App with Salesforce Lightning Design System elements

Suggestion is to provide standard Salesforce components elements from the Lightning Design System as a Miro “App”. It would be used when drafting possible layouts (for example).

Background: Salesforce is a popular CRM system used worldwide. It has an extensive CSS based Lightning Design System including graphic elements. Full details available at https://www.lightningdesignsystem.com/ and/or https://github.com/salesforce-ux/design-system

See also: https://www.lightningdesignsystem.com/tools/sketch/ (unfortunately this is not compatible with Windows PCs so there is a gap in the available tools as far as I am aware.)

There is also a Figma library but I feel this would be a massive plus for our team to have the lightning design systems library in Miro

Salesforce Ventures made a “big” investment in Miro, shocking there isn’t a slds library like Figma has.  I have to assume something like this is in the works?

I agree with this as well. My company is heavily involved with Salesforce. We have a design team who use the Sketch and Figma UI Kits to build out screen designs, but there are occasions where a designer is not available, and we just need a Business Analyst or Salesforce Consultant to create some simple layouts.

Paying Sketch or Figma licenses and having them learn it just to make some simple screens is not worth it. The usability of Miro seems like it would work perfectly for a Lightning Design System template or UI Kit. Plus then you can create simple Salesforce mockups and include diagramming and annotations all in one tool. It would be awesome so somebody please do it!

It would be great to see it taking into account that other solutions like Lucidchart do have it https://www.lucidchart.com/blog/lucidchart-course-salesforce-trailhead

Thank you for your suggestion! It sounds like creating a Miro "App" with standard Salesforce components elements from the Lightning Design System would be a useful tool for those who use both Miro and Salesforce. Integrating design elements from the Lightning Design System could streamline the design process for those working on Salesforce-related projects within Miro.

I suggest reaching out to the Miro support team or submitting a feature request on their website to see if they can add this feature to their platform. Alternatively, you can also explore building a custom Miro plugin or extension that integrates with the Salesforce Lightning Design System to achieve the same functionality.
