As an administrator, I don't need a license to manage the users and licenses. I think it very strange that MIRO does not have this function. Now we can only assign one admin users, a general account (witch is not safe and wishful for a company) because every account needs a license and it is kind of stupid to pay for multiple license for admin users that don't even use MIRO it self. If also the admin want to use Miro, then of course you should be able to assign a license yourself.
A good process would would be to have a button that says, create admin users without license or to use the “add user” and then as next step, decide to add a license or not and then select a role for that user (member or admin)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, everyone!

Currently, the option to convert a company admin license to "Free Restricted" is available on Enterprise plans. Unfortunately, for users on other paid plans, this option isn't available yet, and we don't have any updates from the team at the moment. However, we are keeping a close eye on this, and as soon as we hear anything new, we’ll update the thread.

In the meantime, we recommend checking the Miro changelog for weekly updates on new features and improvements. Thank you for your continued feedback!

Honestly, this is what I came to look for as well. We’re only planning to have four members for the time being, and signed up with four licenses for the business plan. However, our users are non-technical and wanted me to manage billing, setting, SSO configuration, user administration, etc. I won’t actually be using Miro whatsoever. It would be great if I could not consume a full license in the process.

Same problem… We have our backoffice, who will be in charge of the billing, but even if they are only billing admin, they need to be removed from the team so they don’t take up a license? We are a very small business with starter licenses and it is a little frustrating, that solutions are only provided for enterprise plans.

Hey, I’m also serving as an admin and I don’t need a license. Other softwareproviders have this option, like autodesk.
