Add tags to Sticky Note Stacks

Related products:Stickies

I would love to see a feature where tags can be pre-assigned to specific Sticky Note stacks. This way, whenever a Sticky Note is pulled from stack X, it automatically receives tag X.

I came here to make this same suggestion.

I love the sticky stacks, and being able to add headings / title to each stack is helpful, but being able to assign a default tag to each stack would really enhance this further.

e.g. using stacks for SWOT analysis, I have different coloured stacks for each area with the relevant heading above. But for AI to summarise the gathered info I find it really helps for all the stickies to have a tag assigned, which requires me to go through afterwards and update all the stickies with the relevant tag.

@Mimmi Bohlin / @Phil Maylor This may have been delivered:

@Eca Can you please confirm if this feature is GA (general availability), so we can mark this idea as DELIVERED?🙏

I also came to this idea to add what I am looking for:

  • I create one sticky stack.
  • I give it Tag “4P”
  • Take one sticky out of it and you can see it has Tag “4P”;
  • Then, I create another sticky stack and add theg “1P”;
  • I take one sticky note out and it has the tag 1P.
  • But the first sticky note also changed it’s tag to the new one.

@Sergio Prada As tags are at the board level and not the object level, the experience you are demonstrating is expected. The solution to achieve your desired outcome is to create a new tag.

BTW, thanks for taking the time to create a GIF to visualize the steps you are taking!
