I agree with this -- typography is an essential element in design, and it’s important to be able to customize it if we have the licensed fonts ourselves.  In fact why not integrate Miro with Google Fonts and Adobe fonts, as well as allow for uploading fonts from other foundries.

I do alot of client work and alot of that involves presenting to them. This used to typically be done in Keynote or some similar presentation software.

Many times we are required to use their font or another (custom) font. So without being able to use custom fonts we can’t use Miro as a design or presentation tool.

I personally would love this for my projects (I consult to various agencies). We sometimes are forced to use Keynote or even Powerpoint (which then we upload to sharepoint and it creates a mess - painful but some agencies and clients still use this).

If you would allow custom fonts I would then be able to get more of my clients and the agencies I work with to use Miro as our main collaboration and work tool.

is there any update to this topic? We made our own font from out our own handwriting and would love to upload it to our miro-Boards. This would such a big point of efficiency for us. Please let me know, what I need to do to make this wish higher prio for you great people ;-)

I agree with all the others. One main reason for me is to respect my company branding guidelines. There is a font that I am missing and it makes me break the rules of my company.

Lato required by me to make new customer slide deck consistent with our company branding.  The ability to add custom font would be awesome.

I completely agree with all of you. This is a missing feature for sure. In our case, this is even the one thing that is between keeping old softs instead of using Miro.

For info, Figma found a way of doing this, so I guess this is a proof of concept ;)

Yes please we need to use some customized Arabic fonts in Miro.

Without this feature, we have to redraw the outcome in another tool.

I’ve been using Miro for UI / UX design too. Most organization will have its own style, such as colour palettes and typefaces (fonts). Those design ideas won’t be possible without those branding features.

It therefore prevents Miro away from a mood board / good design (sharing) tool.

I’m a Creative Director and we want to leverage Miro for creative ideation and creative presentations of those ideas. We cannot visually express our brand without the custom fonts we use. We have hex codes for our color palette we can load - but not being able to use our fonts means that Miro does not really work for us and we have to rebuild everything in another program like InDesign, which is not collaborative.

Would love the ability to upload custom fonts as well as the ability to use Google Fonts & fonts from Adobe Typekit.

Same as everyone - ideally I’d like to add fonts. However, my question for now: I need to create a branded deck and the company I am working with uses Poppins. I know nothing about fonts...came someone suggest what would be the closest available font on Miro?

We’d all love our Miro work here to align with our brand guidelines. Hope we can see this added in the future.

Must have for the company I’m working at... We need to be on brand when presenting or sharing so for now we need to redo a lot of the work in another tool, which feels like wasted time.

Really need this to happen. We use miro for UI design too and often want to see how the final thing will look like with the right font. And sometimes just being able to use a different font is needed and no such feature is there

I’d love to have Avenir as a Brand-Font! :-)  I have to admit, that it would be very, very nice to create presentations and schemes in a kind of “Corporate Design” - because you don’t need any graphic products for that anymore.

Just chiming in, weneed custom fonts for branding. And at least some leading control.

It is a vital feature for all working on brand. We need to transport the brand personality our own, our clients’. It is impossible without typography. We need to find a way to at least incorporate Google Fonts.

Another vote here. Miro is great for us as a big global company to collaborate. Often, we collaborate on things we want to present. And we’d love to get the presentation material closer to the brand design.
