After copying and pasting data from excel into Miro, there are 2 options: table format or sticky notes.  There should be more options, like mind map nodes or the ability to convert.  And would be ideal to be able to select multiples and convert.

Was it helpful?

@Hulya Huseyin - Greetings from Regina, Saskatchewan! /=S=/

I did modify an open source Miro app called Cardsy (that creates cards from objects) to create mind map nodes. Currently it only creates one mind map node form sticky note, but as soon as I can get around to it, I’ll update the app to create many mind map nodes, e.g., select ten sticky notes and get ten mind map nodes.

I’ll PM you the install link if you’re curious (and allowed by any admins) to install it.

@Hulya Huseyin - Okay, I went ahead and finally updated Mapsy to create multiple mind map nodes at once (warning: Not thoroughly tested, e.g., only tried with sticky notes and sticky notes + cards):

@Robert Johnson Thanks, I did come across Cardsy and Mapsy (I thought it was this one that converted it to mind map nodes), not sure if our IT dept will allow it (hence why I asked for official solution), but I’ll log a ticket and see. I saw another person where I work set up a team that doesn’t have admin requirements and added it there but didn’t see the same functionality you show in the clip. I don’t have the same options in other words but let me get it added properly (right team) first and then I might have to message you if I can’t figure it out. Please send me the link..
