In the following card, you can write a whole description.  As the UX does not include a save button, the expectation that clicking away from the card would save the text.

Current behavior

Currently clicking away from the card deletes the text in the description field.

Expected behavior

Clicking away from the text would save the changes

Impact

Quite a lot of work can be lost accidentally.

Not sure what’s happening for you. But when I have used in the past, and just tested now, it saves the text. I just put 1 letter in the text field, changed nothing else, closed it and the text was still there?

Hmm, Odd.  Thanks for looking at it BurtyC
Might be an intermittent bug… Or a weird combination of factors. When trying this a few ways, It does seem to save it.

For the Dev team: The scenario was this.
I was in a meeting room, wrote my meeting notes in the card.   At the end of the meeting, returned to my desk with my laptop and plugged it in.   I saw it all successfully there, then clicked to another card, and upon returning to my first card, the content of the description was gone.

A few moving parts might have resulted in this, like changing the network access point, the monitor/ screen turning off and going to the lock screen, opening the browser again….

All things I wouldn’t expect to cause an issue.
