I love getting email notifications about board updates, but for some boards I don’t really care about seeing updates. That said, I don’t want to necessarily leave the board. As a board owner or board member, I want to unfollow or un-watch the board so that I can stop getting board-change notifications.

No, that didn’t help, but I did try it already. I think that might only be related to comment threads. The emails I’d like to stop getting are about ongoing changes to the board, not only comments, but other work such as maintaining cards, shapes, etc.
