Auto-Fading Highlighter/Pen

When presenting or screen sharing a Miro board, there isn’t a great “pointer tool” besides the mouse cursor to facilitate what is being presented.

The idea here would be to have a temporary/auto-fading highlighter/pen tool so that it can be used as a pointer tool by actually drawing on the Miro board.

The temporary nature of the highlighter/pen is that it would auto-fade away after a period of time (something reasonable like 30s or maybe even configurable).

This would allow for a worry-free drawing/highlighting mode, without affecting existing board or having to erase afterwards, that greatly aides in visually effect by indicating/drawing directly on the board.

Was it helpful?

I like this idea, particular in connection with the talk track feature this would be great and would make it easier to point listeners to particular aspects of the board.

I also love this idea! Would be great when using a pencil with ipad for facilitating and drawing attention to something in a “brighter” way than just a cursor, especially when there are many people in a board
