The mind map has the best functionality for auto-adding boxes. The flowchart has the best formatting capabilities in terms of shapes and text font/size control. It would be great to be able to have box shapes around mind map text (not just filling it with color, I mean a box frame). Other items could easily be added after, such as different types of shapes and text font/size control. But that first rectangle shape would be a great addition.
OR
Add mind-map style ‘align child nodes’ to flowcharts and being able to add boxes in only 1 direction (they currently switch right, left, right, left, etc.). That would give the exact functionality I’m looking for.
