Miro User Groups or MUGs are meetups locally and virtually that are hosted by some amazing Miro users. At these events you’ll be able to meet fellow Miro users to network, share ideas and best practices and collaborate to create the next big thing.
We’ll have great conversations, food, and drinks as well as exclusive swag that you’ll only find at in-person MUGs!
We’re starting in Austin TX, San Francisco, CA, and Amsterdam (as well as our Virtual Events…V-MUGs for the win!) but we will be expanding to a city near you! We’re taking over the GLOBE!
So join your fellow Miro Pioneers and find a MUG near you by going to events.miro.com! We'll be adding new events every month.

Hi,
Are you open to non-virtual events outside of Europe/US? I would like to bring users from Lahore, Pakistan together.
Cheers Usman
One of our team members who will use Miro a lot doesn’t speak english…
Is there a MUG in french or someOne who would kindly help her ?
Are you up for virtual groups around specific features? Would love to start an .en mindmapping sig in GMT-7.
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie and I’m the community event coordinator for Miro
@Phil Wolff yes we are open to chapters around specific features! @Phil Wolff@Guillaume Paque@usmannaeem For all those interested in chatting more about our user groups and how to potentially start one please feel free to email me at natalie.l@miro.com or book a time to chat on my calendar directly - https://calendly.com/natalie-l/30min.
Best, Natalie
Bonjour à vous tous! @Guillaume Paque
If a Miro User Group is called MUG, does that make us all… Muggles?
From this description in Wikipedia : A muggles : is a person who lacks any sort of magical ability and was not born in a magical family. I do not feel like a muggle I think we need to have some magical wisdom to work with Miro, Miro is more like the magic wand but we have to know all the secrets and the wisdom to use it.
Also wikipedia : Generally speaking, it is used by members of a group to describe those outside the group, comparable to civilian as used by military personnel.
So..@Henrik Ståhl from my understanding, First when I saw Mug I really thought about coffee mugs / teamates cheerings up with coffee !! Diversify, funky and bieautifful mugs with different style and shapes on a display shelfs .
@Véronique Carbonneau Haha sorry, I was just trying to be funny. I like the notion of team mates cheering each other up with coffee though! A huge part of Swedish culture is actually about this thing we call “fika”. It’s basically just a break from whatever we’re currently doing for like 10-15 minutes, when we drink coffee or tea, have a snack and talk. We try to squeeze in a “fika” whenever we can, typically 2-3 times per day.
@Henrik Ståhl I love the term fika!
We’ve mostly retired the term MUG (or muggle) at Miro (this is simply an older thread!)
:) @Henrik Ståhl I love it We should incorporate that in tiny session . Fika Session An ongoing open space to take a break and chit-chat
@Véronique Carbonneau@Colleen Curtis Fika is one of the best things Sweden has ever contributed to the world! We should definitely establish some sort of Miro Fika Session. I might just create a “fika board” and invite the whole community.
