Question

Share my App

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Good morning, I was trying to share my application with another Miro user so they can return the authorization code and exchange it for an access token. However, I can't find where the authorization code is returned. In the video tutorial it shows it in the link, but when I accept the installation of the application it sends me directly to the list of boards and I don't see the link that appears in the tutorial. Is there any other place where I can see that authorization code?

Was it helpful?

Hi @Dylan Pulido

Thanks for reaching out! Could you please share us the link where you found the video tutorial for these steps? Could you share a short video or screenshots of the steps you're taking? Also, which app are you working with? That might help pinpoint where the issue is.

Looking forward to your response! 😊

Hi @Eca

This is the video ive been working with https://developers.miro.com/docs/getting-started-with-oauth

I'm working step by step with the video, the problem occurs when the other person installs my application, in the video they take the authorization code from the url that appears, but it doesn't show me that screen, it goes directly to the person's dashboard.

Hi @Dylan Pulido

Thanks for sharing the video! Since you're following the steps but experiencing different behavior, this might be due to a change in how Miro handles the OAuth flow or a configuration issue with your app.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Miro Support with details about your app setup, the expected vs. actual behavior, and any error messages you’re seeing. They can investigate further.

Let me know if you need assistance in reaching out them.
