Today I faced the problem of endless loading. The platform itself loads extremelly slow, often without any progress. Not to talk about the boards. They start loading but the loading goes on for 15 percent then it stops. I used google chrome, michrosoft edge on my laptop. tried using the app for the laptop, tried incognito mode - nothing works. the board only loads when my vpn is on. I am in Russia. I don’t hear about any loading issues from other people located here. As for other devices, I tried loading the boards on my iphone in safari and on my ipad using the app. it works throught the app from time to time but doesn’t work consistently. What might be the problem? please help

Hi there,

It sounds like you’re experiencing severe loading issues that are likely region- or network-related, given that your boards only load consistently when using a VPN and other users in Russia don’t report problems. Here’s a breakdown of possible causes and some steps you can try:

Possible Causes

  1. Regional Network Restrictions:
Some platforms may experience slow connections or partial blocking in certain regions. Since your boards load only with a VPN, this is a strong indicator.
  2. ISP / Routing Issues:
Sometimes your local internet provider may have poor routing to the platform’s servers, causing extremely slow load times.
  3. Browser or App Cache / Cookies:
Corrupted cache or cookies can occasionally lead to endless loading, though it seems less likely since you’ve tried multiple browsers and devices.
  4. Platform-side throttling or edge server issues:
It’s possible that some of the platform’s servers are having difficulty serving requests from your location.

Steps to Try

  1. Continue using a VPN for now:
Since the boards load reliably with it, this is the simplest temporary fix.
  2. Try different network connections:
If possible, test with a mobile hotspot, another ISP, or a public Wi-Fi. This can confirm whether your home network is part of the issue.
  3. Clear cache and cookies completely:
    • In Chrome or Edge, go to settings → Privacy & Security → Clear browsing data → select Cookies and Cached Images.
    • Restart the browser and try again.
  4. Use a lightweight browser or the web app in incognito mode:
    Sometimes extensions interfere with loading.
  5. Check firewall / antivirus settings:
Make sure they aren’t blocking certain scripts or connections from the platform.
  6. Contact platform support with network logs:
    • If the issue persists, provide them with: your IP, browser, device, and a network trace (F12 → Network tab) showing where loading stops.
    • This helps them identify region-specific server or routing issues.

Summary:
The fact that your boards load only via VPN strongly suggests network or regional routing issues rather than a device problem. Using a VPN is a practical workaround, but sharing detailed logs with the platform support team may help them fix it for users in your region.
