Hi, it seems the linkedin profile API is not working. What to do? I used to paste URLs in boards and get a profile pciture with direct link to profile URL and LI logo. Now it shows a login page. Using chrome latest version, while logged in in Linkedin.

Hi @Thijs Sprangers

Well, I can’t answer your question - but I tried embedding my own LinkedIn profile link, and I also got the login box you describe,

I checked my own profile, and I do have visibility set to public:

So I guess it seems LinkedIN seems to have changed something here!

I did notice that links to posts still seem to work:

So maybe that is an ugly workaround: create a “shamless plug post” about yourself!

Good luck!

Ken

Thanks @Kenneth Ritley ;-) in this case I am introducing team members to an audience, so that wouldnt work but I look your thinking!

Hmmm . .  couple of other thoughts:

(1) Use Miro Cards. if the people have Miro accounts you’ll see their avatars or pics

(2) Use fun shapes then select “Add link” and it will look like this:

(3) If you have time, you could take little screenshots of the LinkedIN profiles and use the link trick in step 2.

Good luck!

Same thing here - our dynamik stakeholder maps have all dried up; a giant loss.
Keep us posted if the API returns with features allowing us to continue, pls.
