Developer platform and APIs

Today I faced the problem of endless loading. The platform itself loads extremelly slow, often without any progress. Not to talk about the boards. They start loading but the loading goes on for 15 percent then it stops. I used google chrome, michrosoft edge on my laptop. tried using the app for the laptop, tried incognito mode - nothing works. the board only loads when my vpn is on. I am in Russia. I don’t hear about any loading issues from other people located here. As for other devices, I tried loading the boards on my iphone in safari and on my ipad using the app. it works throught the app from time to time but doesn’t work consistently. What might be the problem? please help 

I am creating a complicated and very large diagram, and I don’t want all the details to be visible at first glance. That’s why I need nested diagrams. I would like to enclose child diagrams inside a block that appears on the top‑level diagram. The child diagram should be visible only when I double‑click the block to enter it. Two layers of nesting would be fine, but if possible, having three or four levels would be excellent.

Good morning, Team, Miro, What are the steps to transfer ownership of an Admin account. Our previous Admin manager has resigned, and all of the accounts was terminated. However, the new Miro add-on was purchased and sent to the previous admin account.  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, I started with free plan and upgraded. Then the board that I used for free plan dissapered from my home screen. I shared the free plan board with others, so I can still see via the link. However I would like to see all in one place rather than click the link. Please let me know how to change it.

I have Miro’s MCP server setup internally and it has been working great for weeks, but suddently today the app credentials are being invalidated every couple hours.  I would love to know a fix as it crashes our internal bot for every call to it.

Hi I had a premium miro account attached to a company email, through which I invited my personal gmail to work on the boards. I left the company, my company email is deleted, but the boards are still under that email.This means that I cannot delete them or invite others as my personal gmail is not the owner, but the owner does not exist anymore. It is also not possible for me to make any more personal boards as my limit is reached through the boards I can access from my company email.How can I delete those boards, so that I can own my own boards?

A number of AWS icons/elements have turned invisible on multiple diagrams.  You can select and move the icons, but they remain invisible.  I have tried to move them to front.  I have duplicated them and the copy is also invisible.  I have tried to ‘switch type’ to another type, and it works, but it is still invisible.  I have duplicated the diagram, still invisible.  I have tried incognito mode and a different browser.  I have tried a hard reset on the diagram.  I have toggled hardware acceleration.  I have cleared my browser cache/storage.  Nothing seems to work. It is not all AWS icons, just some of them.One oddity, I can change the color, and the icon shows up with the selected color.  Typically, any color changes of an AWS icon is ignored.I was planning on just manually redoing the diagram, but then notice it has happened to multiple diagrams.Any ideas how to fix it?Invisible AWS Shapes

  Since we've upgraded our version of JIRA from 9.9.1 to 10.3.8 JIRA cards no longer work and we can't create an application link within JIRA config. I know some API's were depreciated in 10.3. X onwards. Could this be why? Any advice or support on this please?  Thanks 

Trying to integrate MIRO in an existing Application. It is a web conferencing application where, If I am a host I want to share a miro board (live-embed it in my application). And My host has the ability to handle access level (edit/view) for the board for participants. Now, for participants (they are unregistered on miro). Will they be able to see/edit the live-embed shared board. Is there some API to authenticate them and not redirect them to login to MIRO. 

Dear Miro Support Team,After the recent update, I’m having serious problems using my materials. Because of the Synced copies feature, I can no longer reuse my materials on other boards the way I used to. This feature is extremely frustrating. I do not want my boards to be linked in any way.When I try to refuse synced copies and simply paste the content, the materials just don’t load or appear at all. Because of this update, I cannot properly reuse my own materials across different boards.This functionality is making my work much more difficult instead of easier. How can I disable Synced copies completely and go back to normal copying between boards?I would appreciate a clear solution.Regards,Lena

I tried to integrate our codebase with Miro via MCP.Sadly, we cannot generate accurate representations of the domain without the sticky notes, which are a mandatory feature for visualisations such as Event Storming.Is this intentional or do you plan to give the MCP the required tools for this ? Right now, it can only generate diagrams which are not really useful.

When grouping a Kanban board where the grouping field is multiple selection, the current behaviour is to group by unique set of values. So if we have options A and B, groups will be “A”, “B”, “A+B” and “None”. This makes it very hard to have a segmentation of all the rows that have a value selected in that field.For example, I have a list of initiatives (rows) that impact multiple teams (each team is a value in a multiple select field), so if I group initiatives by Team, I can’t see all initiatives that impact a single team in a single place, since the default behaviour is that if an initiative impacts two teams, that row will show in a separate group. I’ll have to visit all the groups to find which groups include that team, increasing the chance of me missing something and introducing human error.I tried creating one subtask per team and tagging each subtask with a single team, and disabled nesting but this means now I have to manage 6 or 7 individual subtasks with no way of keeping t

I’m trying to create sub-records in a project schedule on a board. I upgraded to the starter plan but it’s still not working and asking me to upgrade when I try this. 

I have a large board with 650 items, some of those items contain links (added via right click → "Edit Link”). How can I access these links via the REST API? I can get the item itself via the boards/{{board_id}}/shapes/{{item_id}  and that includes a "links” key, but that only has the link to the item itself, not the link added via "Edit Link”.Where is this data stored? How can I retrieve the added link for each item?

We are using REST APIs extensively in my organization to read Miro boards and automate in the Organization Applications.  We are fed up with the Item properties, especially for “LinkedTo” property to Item links either other object links or other board links.  As per the research, REST API not supported to get this property and referenced Web SDK (which is expensive to implement).  Is there any alternative method to get “linkedTo” property from the item?  Appreciate if Miro developers responds and implement this available in REST API.

When uploading an image via POST /v2/boards/{board_id}/images with a geometry.width smaller than  the image's native pixel width, Miro previously scaled the image to fit the container. It now clips the image at native resolution, showing only a cropped portion of the content.Expected behaviourThe full image is displayed scaled down to fit the 750 × 1137.5 container — as it used to work.Actual behaviourThe API returns the correct geometry (750 × 1137.5) but the image is rendered at its native 1500 × 2275 pixel resolution inside the container, clipping all content outside the container bounds. Only the top-left portion of the image is visible.Can you please restore the scale-to-fit rendering behavior when geometry is smaller than the uploaded image's native pixel dimensions, or expose a parameter (e.g. imageScaleMode: "fit" | "clip") to control this explicitly?Thanks!Djon
