Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask about a workflow that I think many Miro users run into, especially when working with large boards or reused templates.
Sometimes the same client name, project name, date, placeholder, or repeated phrase appears across multiple sticky notes, cards, text boxes, frames, or other board items. When a board is being prepared for a client, workshop, team session, or stakeholder review, manually checking and updating every repeated word can take a lot of time.
We’ve been working on Smart Find & Replace, a tool for Miro boards that helps users search for repeated text, preview matches, and replace text across a board faster.
It can be useful for things like:
-
replacing an old client name in a cloned workshop board;
-
updating dates across recurring planning templates;
-
cleaning placeholder text before sharing a board;
-
fixing repeated wording mistakes across a large board;
-
preparing a client-ready Miro board faster.
Here’s the link: https://www.smartfindreplace.com/
I’d love to hear from other Miro users, especially consultants, facilitators, product teams, marketing teams, and anyone who reuses templates often.
Would a find-and-replace workflow be useful for your boards? What kind of repeated text do you usually need to update in Miro?
