Hi, my team is using the table configuration that can also show a kanban board view but I can’t convert those lines to Jira Issues and even when I update the view to kanban, I don’t see the option to “convert to” for those cards the way I can convert stickies and the actual “cards” Am I missing something? I want to convert cards from kanban and/or table view into Jira issues but I don’t see that option.

For clarification, I have permissions, am a Jira admin and can convert stickies and regular cards, but want to be able to see the option for the kanban cards and it just isn’t there…. Thanks!

While I can’t assist in the resolution, I would like to add to that this is what my team is trying to accomplish as well.

The issue isn’t permissions as I can create a Miro “card” stand alone on the board and convert that to a Jira task.  However the convert option is not available on any cards in the Table/Kanban/Timeline view.

One thing to note, a Jira card created elsewhere on the board can be copied to the Table/Kanban/Timeline view and it functions as one would expect.  I say “copied” as dragging and dropping Cards (of Miro, Jira type or otherwise) creates a copy on the those boards.

Not to hijack this thread, it would be great if there was a way that Table/Kanban/Timeline could leverage the Planner’s ability to link to a Jira board, and better still if the ability to keep a mix Miro “Cards” and Jira issues in the one view.  This way things could be planned out and escalated to Jira issues as required, saving the backlog from unnecessary clutter.  I know…  Feature request. Sorry. :)
