When accidentally holding shift while pressing Enter, the text on Miro receives line terminators that most other software doesn’t support - which leads to ugly unsupported symbols and spacing of text being broken when copying text somewhere else - eg a chat or a txt file.

I would appreciate a fix where a Shift+Enter entry just creates a normal linebreak instead. It would also be good if with that update existing text will be parsed and these unusual line terminators replaced by standard ones.

Thanks!

Hi @Maxim Gehricke, thanks for reporting this!

I’d like to try replicating this behavior on my end to see if it’s reproducible. When you have a moment, could you please share a short video or a few screenshots showing the exact steps you took? This will help clarify how the issue occurs and make it easier to pass along to the team if needed.

Looking forward to your reply!
