Hello, beautiful Miro team!

I’ve been having the same problem over the last couple of months. No boards are loading. Only in someone else’s team. What can be the problem and can it be fixed? I’ve been thinking about upgrading but if this problem stays consistent, that would be pointless.

Board performance in Miro depends largely on the content within the board — for example, heavy PDFs, high-resolution images, and extensive pen drawings can significantly slow down loading. The size and number of frames also play a role.

A few things you can try:

  • Check board content: If possible, duplicate the board and test on the copy. This helps identify if heavy content is the cause.

  • Optimize large files: Convert heavy PDFs or high-res images into smaller PNG/JPG files before re-uploading.

  • Split oversized boards: Cutting a very large board into smaller ones can improve loading and navigation.

  • Troubleshoot locally:

    • Open the board in Chrome’s incognito mode.

    • Try on a faster network or test without VPN.

    • Use a device with more RAM (desktop/laptop vs. tablet).

    • Close background apps/tabs to free up resources.

If the problem only happens in someone else’s team, could you share:

  • Do all boards in that team fail to load, or only specific ones?

  • What device and browser are you using?

  • Does the same issue occur if you access those boards from another network or device?
