Hi, I am using the new v2 REST API and I would like to use either metadata at the widget level as per the v1 API or the appData that is available through the SDK https://beta.developers.miro.com/docs/board_board#setappdata but it doesn’t appear to be exposed to the REST API board model https://beta.developers.miro.com/reference/board-model
Is that correct? Is there a plan to expose it?

You are right, it is not yet supported on the REST API v2. This is in our backlog but we don't have an ETA yet.
It will be great if you could vote for this card and share with us what you are trying to build. That will help us to make sure we build the right API.
