The zoom level for each click of my scroll wheel is wildly different when in my normal experience using Miro in web browser vs embedded in Zoom app.
Is there a way to fix this that anyone knows about?

I DO wish I could still use trackpad mode in the same way as I do on my browser though, I love using my thumb and regular scroll wheel to move straight across or up and down. Makes it easier to navigate a large board when working through a workflow. My zoom works fine in trackpad mode with my mouse and ctrl + scroll on the browser. Not sure why it is different, but now I know my options. Thanks!
Hi
I understand the zoom behavior can feel different between the Zoom app integration and a typical web browser setup.
Robert is right about trying the different navigation modes; switching to "mouse" mode can make a noticeable difference, as it defaults to more natural scrolling.
We’ll keep any further tips shared here in mind, and you can also add this as feedback for Miro’s support team—anything to improve the experience in integrated apps is great insight for them! Let us know if switching modes helps.
I did notice that for a while now, the zoom using Ctrl+Zoom was weird. At first, i just assumed it was just me, but when my colleague who use Miro also started complaining about the zoom being way to fast.. I figured something must have changed.
Just for reference, when i'm at 100% and zoom in with Cltr+Scroll, the values are:
or zoom out:
These are way to big steps too take. Compared to using the + and - buttons on the bottom right
hey
I would have him play with the mode he is in mouse vs trackpad:
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply.
It's Miro on browser (Microsoft Edge).
The behavior seems the same on either Auto-detect, Mouse or Trackpad setting
Ah - well, then you are seeing different behavior that I have! I would reach out to tech support directly at this point - good luck!
