Why is text content sometimes invisible or vanishes when you zoom out back in?

Just created my first board - simple structure just some frames and boxes.
I encountered the following problem: Text which I have entered into text elements or standard forms keeps on vanishing or is getting partly invisible (i.e. first line of text is no longer visible, second line of text still is) when I zoom out and back in.
To be able to read all text content which I have already entered I need to double click each element until the text lines are re-appearing.
I appreciate your hints and comments to fight this phenomenon.

Hi @Rainer Eckert! Thanks for reaching out! This sounds like a rendering issue that sometimes happens with text elements in Miro when zooming. A few things you can try:

  1. Make sure you’re on the latest version of Firefox or Chrome.
  2. Browser caching can cause display glitches.
  3. Text sometimes disappears when zoomed too far in/out.
  4. Some fonts render more reliably than others.

If the issue persists, please provide your device details, a brief description of the actions you’re performing on the board, and a screenshot or short video illustrating the problem so we can assist you more effectively.

I have this same problem where parts of texts randomly disappear. It looks like this is a firefox related issue as I have not seen it happening in edge (and thus other chrome browsers)

Hi @rikmeijer thanks for reaching out.

Since you've observed the issue in Firefox but not in Edge, it does seem like the browser may be a contributing factor.

Could you let us know:

  • Which version of Firefox you're using?
  • Does this happen on every board or only specific ones?
  • Are the missing text elements restored after refreshing and duplicating the board, or do they remain missing even in the duplicate board?
  • If possible, could you share a screenshot or screen recording showing the behavior?

The additional details will help us better understand whether this is a browser-specific issue or something else.
