Why can't I have vertical connectors from MindMap elements (or any element for that matter?)

As the title says, it would be nice to have connectors from all 4 MIDDLES of elements. (vertical and horizontal)

Your idea definitely makes sense and I’m glad to let you know that we have the vertical Mind Map in our backlog. I do hope this is something that we’ll get a chance to implement!

    Great, now we do have Horizontal AND Vertical connectors - but… why can’t we have BOTH, at the same time?! Please!
