Hello Everyone,

My name is Ryan, I work in education. I live in London, UK.

I am new to Miro. I signed up some time ago but never used it. Now that I have started using it, I really like it.

I am trying to figure out where’s the best place to learn Miro really well? I believe Miro has its own course or tutorial. Has anyone gone through it all? Is it good?

@RyanUK - Hello again. We met virtually in one of your previous posts that led to your Ability to annotate or draw on your desktop or any open application like OpenBoard app Wish List Idea (by the way, you can totally vote for your own idea ).

As for learning Miro, while there are a number of resources that will surely help you pick up some tips & tricks along the way, what I have personally found to be most effective is to just pick a personal or professional project and dig right in.

For example, even though I have been using Miro for over 2.5 years now, I recently decided to create a new board that was aimed at helping people new to Miro learn the basics. Through this process of creating the board, I learned a few things I didn't already know. I made this board as my entry into the How Do You Miro? Miro 101 Templates Challenge. If you’re interested in testing my board out for me, I have sent you a link to it by private message on this forum. And now with that shameless plug out of the way, here's a link to the template challenge post where

  1. you may get some ideas of your own for a board to build to learn a bit more yourself and to use later to help others learn
  2. and maybe you wouldn't mind giving your new/old pal Rob a Like oh his entry? :astonished:  (and definitely vote for any other templates that you like

Check it out at: How Do You Miro? Miro 101 Templates Challenge

Other resources for learning Miro

  • Miro Academy - Miro It doesn't get much more official than the Miro Academy of... well, Miro. I have taken a few of thee short video courses and found them useful: https://academy.miro.com
  • Miro Community - As you’ve surely learned by now, this is where you can ask the questions to where you haven’t been able to find an answer elsewhere (and a good place to learn the answers to questions being asked by others): https://community.miro.com/
  • Miro Help Center - I find this works especially well when entering what you are looking to learn more about just as it appears in the Miro interface:  https://help.miro.com
  • Miro Webinars and virtual events: https://go.miro.com/webinars
  • Miro’s  YouTube channel - Many short (1-3 minute how-to videos): https://www.youtube.com/c/MiroHQ
