Using Windows 10 Pro at work and I have it installed in my apps and integrations, but it does not appear as a tool when working on a board. It does not appear with the other Refractive apps (Power Pak, Clusterizer) in the Miro Marketplace. I just noticed today (THu 12 Dec). I had been using Miro less than normal last month, but now I will be using it regularly again. Is Totally Random being updated? Is there new pricing situation? I find this tool essential for my work.

Hey there,

i'd also be happy to know about the status of totally random! :)

Thanks @hannesmon for jumping in on this thread!

I’ve reached out to the team to check on the current status of Totally Random by Refractive, since it's no longer appearing in the Marketplace and seems to be inactive on boards despite being installed.

As soon as I hear back, I’ll update this thread. Really appreciate your patience — and I completely understand how important this tool can be for your workflows!

It was likely removed from the Marketplace as it (based on the last app install like I have) is using Web SDK v1.0 which is deprecated.

Thanks for the replies! 🤓

Is this the only working workaround there is right now?

(I really need to shuffle objects, and I'm not that much into hosting apps...)

Or d'you know any other?

@hannesmon - No other ideas here 🤷

Thanks for all the replies! I use Miro for English learning and randomizing vocabulary and reading objects was so engaging for the students.  I used to use flashcards with a pocket chart and rearranging items was ok (and dropping them got students to laugh), but with Totally Random rearranging is/was so instantaneous, dynamic.

I see Miro is implementing its own flip card tool. Maybe they can start working on a randomizing tool...please?

Once again, thanks for the updates.
