Okay, this might be a very stupid question, but i can't really seem to find the answer for it.

I'm looking at the pricing page and i am wondering what exactly is considered a workspace in Miro terms. The term is not used at all in the matrix below the pricing tables and i can't find the term “workspace” in the dashboard anywhere either.

I'm referring to the one that says:

Free:
Single workspace with 3 editable boards

Starter:
Single workspace with unlimited boards

Business:

Unlimited private and secure workspaces with unlimited boards for every team and client

If i google for “miro workspace”, i'm just being directed towards some marketing terms, but not too any functional application in the board. Is it the teams? is it the organizations? I just can't tell.

Some articles in the support section also seems to conflict with the definition of a workspace

A team in Miro is a shared workspace

A Miro board is an online workspace

a Space for each business context that it wants to represent in the Miro innovation workspace.

@DennisW - Not a stupid question at all! Ther have been quite a few changes in Miro as of late, so even I (a long-time, experienced user) have needed to stop from time-to-time and question if I'm using the current term.

It's late here, but I'll throw this out quickly to see if it helps: "teams" and "workspaces" are the same thing in Miro.

This page actually uses the term "Team", which aligns with an action a user can see in their Miro dashboard (i.e., "Create team" or "Join  team"):

So, a Team/Workspace is where users are added to, and where boards are created in. A user could then be a member of one or more teams.

As you pointed out, Miro can be inconsistent in their wording, which can lead to confusion. I will share this feedback with the Community Team.
