What am I doing wrong - selecting objects

I think I’ve used every drawing and illustration tool, but I’m getting stuck on Miro all the time - it’s embarrassing. How can I know whether I’m going to select an object to move it, or just more myself around the workspace? I also want to know how to drag over a group of objects to move them together, or group them. I feel like I’m missing something really basic but important. Thank you!

If you are using a mouse, then clicking directly on the edges of an object to select it normally works assuming you are in select (arrow) and not panning (hand) cursor mode.

To grab a group of objects you can shift-left mouse click and drag to select the objects within a rectangular area, use the Lasso tool (which is available from the same menu as the Pen, or you can click to select one object and then shift-click to select multiple other objects.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! That’s just not intuitive at all, for me. Thanks!
