Sometimes I (or better: the other person) have the problem, that someone I share a board with is asked to log in before being able to see the board. Though I chose “Anyone with the link can edit”.
Luckily this happens only a few times. But why does that happen? Not all of my guests have a miro account.

@OleZ -
Do the folks that get this message have a Miro account? If so, there might be some credential cached in their browser. In such cases, if they use the link through an incognito session it will work as expected.

For clarification of your issue, I updated the title to “Visitors” as Visitors and Guests access are different from a Miro perspective.
@OleZ - What subscription type do these boards belong to? (Starter, Education, Consultant/Business, Enterprise?)

Hi,
no, they don’t have a Miron account.

Hi,
it is consultant.
While I am no expert on SSO, I seem to recall hearing of scenarios where users were on a corporate network/VPN and would be forced to sign in to an account when accessing the miro.com domain. The scenario I am vaguely recalling was a consultant – who’s client had an Enterprise Plan subscription with Miro – could not access their Miro subscription while on-site with their client.
If this happens again, I would suggest reporting it to Miro support:
I’m having the same problem. Visitor gets to the board but a signup pop up comes up (Sign up with email, or Sign up with Google, etc.) that can’t be minimized.
(I’m on a business plan, under my name)

Does this happen with all boards, and with all non-team members?
Can you replicate by trying to load the board in an incognito window?
Can you try a test board, set the board to Public/Anyone with the link -> Can edit (putting a screenshot of the board's Share settings in the board) and PM the link to try?
Hello. I am also having this problem. On a business account, shared board with edit access, clicked on guest link, tried it by using my Incognito window - asked for email and name. It should just open the board without requiring a log-in. Any ideas how to fix this?
@Nourish Leadership - The Guests feature requires a Miro account. If you want anyone with the link to be able to access a board, then you need to use the Visitors/public feature.
