Hey,

does anybody has experience using Miro on a one-off (1-2 days) event with external visitors (approx 40-50). Can this work normally with Starter plan on 1 licence and visitor link shared with all participants? Even with possibility for all of them to add content and use AI elements?

Hi @Michal Stefan,

Yes, you can absolutely use Miro for a one-off event with external visitors! With the Starter plan, you’ll be able to invite up to 50 participants via a visitor link, and they’ll be able to interact with the board—adding content, leaving comments, etc. Visitors don’t need a Miro account, and there’s no limit to the number of visitors for this type of event.

However, there are a couple of things to note:

  • AI-powered features (like Smart Summarization or Idea Organization) are only available to registered users, not visitors. So if you’d like everyone to access those features, each participant would need to be invited as a full team member (which would require licenses).
  • If content collaboration from all 40-50 participants is key, visitors can edit and contribute, but their access will be somewhat limited compared to team members (e.g., no access to advanced features like voting or the timer).
