User account gets deactivated instead of moved back to free restricted

Hi,

We are using SCIM to give users full miro licenses based on their membership in an Azure AD group. This works fine, but we have a problem if a user doesn’t need the license anymore. If he is removed from the Azure AD group, he is DEACTIVATED in Miro. This is a problem as he then can’t be added anymore to any board, not even as a free user.

Is there a way to ensure that people who leave the AD group just get demoted to free restricted instead of deactivated?

HI @Alexander Neu

I’m not exactly sure, but it sounds like you are removing a license, and to do that, you have to delete the user account (as described here:

To remove licenses, you may need to remove team members first in the Active users tab under User and Team Management (this option is available for Admins only). )

Once removed, you’ll have to re-add them.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding this? If this isn’t helpful, if you are on a paid subscription, you can also report this directly to the Miro support team - instructions can be found here → https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C
