Urgent: Free-plan research board deleted without warning – recovery needed

An essential research-project board now displays “Board has been deleted” but it does not appear in my Trash and I did not intentionally delete it. I received no deletion warning or notification. The board contains several years of project progress required for institutional reporting.

I still have the original board URL and can provide the board link privately. Could a Miro moderator please escalate this to Support and help me recover the board?

HI @Ana Goidea, thanks for reaching out and for providing the details. I’d be happy to escalate this to Support, but I’d first like to gather a little more information so the team has the relevant details available when reviewing your case.

If you’re the board owner, could you try opening the original board URL you still have and click restore the board? Deleted boards can generally be restored within 90 days, including through the original board link in some cases.

If the board isn’t available through the link or you’re not the owner, Support can help determine the appropriate recovery options based on the board’s ownership and team setup.

Please avoid sharing the board link publicly here. If Support needs it, they’ll let you know how to provide it securely.
