Dear Miro Support,

I am contacting you regarding a serious billing issue with my Miro Business subscription.

I signed up for what I understood to be a trial and did not intend to continue with a paid annual subscription. I did not knowingly authorise a $240 annual charge, and I did not make meaningful use of the paid subscription.

I have now attempted to cancel the subscription through my Miro account. However, Miro is preventing me from cancelling because of an outstanding $240 invoice. The cancellation screen specifically states that the subscription cannot be cancelled because the outstanding invoice payment has failed.

This has placed me in an extremely difficult financial situation. Miro continues attempting to debit my account, and these repeated failed payment attempts have already resulted in approximately R250 in bank charges being deducted from my account. I do not have the financial means to pay the $240 invoice.

I am therefore formally requesting that Miro:

  1. Immediately cancel my subscription.

  2. Waive the outstanding $240 invoice in full.

  3. Stop all further attempts to charge or debit my account.

  4. Confirm in writing that no further amounts will be pursued or collected from me in relation to this subscription.

  5. Review and, where possible, assist with the financial losses I have already incurred as a result of the repeated failed payment attempts.

I am not requesting that the payment be deferred or that the subscription remain active. I am specifically requesting cancellation and resolution of the disputed invoice.

I have attempted to resolve this myself through the Miro billing settings, but the system does not allow me to cancel because of the outstanding invoice. I am therefore asking Miro Support to manually intervene and resolve the account.

Please treat this as an urgent billing dispute. I cannot afford further bank charges caused by repeated payment attempts, and I do not authorise Miro to continue attempting to collect the $240.

Please confirm once the subscription has been cancelled, the $240 invoice has been waived, and all future collection attempts have been stopped.

I can provide screenshots of the cancellation error and my billing page if required.

Regards,
T
