unmanaged Miro accounts into a new Enterprise setup

hello everyone,
We are consolidating previously unmanaged Miro accounts into a new Enterprise setup.

Some users have an existing Miro account under an old company email domain, while SCIM/JIT provisioned a new account under our current company domain. We have now disabled SCIM/JIT.

We have three cases:

  • Old account has content, new account is empty → migrate the identity/license while preserving the content.

  • Both accounts have different boards/content → both must be preserved and consolidated.

  • User never had an old account → no conflict.

What is the correct Miro-supported procedure to consolidate these identities, especially when both profiles contain content, and then safely re-enable SCIM/SSO?

The desired end state is one account under the current domain containing all relevant content.

HI @Vannick Mofor, thanks for outlining the different account scenarios. Since this involves Enterprise account consolidation, I’ll convert your case into a Support ticket so the team can review your specific setup and advise on the appropriate process.

Please bear with the team, as they’ve been handling a high volume of tickets, so their response may take a little longer than usual. They’ll review your request and get back to you as soon as possible. Kindly avoid sharing any account-specific or sensitive information publicly here. If the team needs additional details, they’ll let you know through the ticket.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
