unlinking from another organisation

I want to create a Miro board but my email address is associated with the account of an organisation/team I am not part of (they have invited me to their boards in the past). How do I make my own account?

I have looked at other answers which suggested the organisation could unlink my email, but they said I am not part of their team so they are not sure what to do.

    ​@Kate Ferguson There are several possible explanations for what’s going on, along with a few options to help you get where you want to be.

    Two questions:

    1. What do you see when you sign into Miro (e.g., a dashboard or a pop-up)? And can you share a screenshot?

    2. Are you willing to start from scratch, or are there boards that you are currently working on and wouldn't know how to access them again?
