Collaborators are reporting that they see the Miro timer start up but after a while disappears. How do I keep it from disappearing?

Hi @NOrtiz,

Thanks for reaching out!

The timer in Miro should remain visible until it reaches zero or is manually stopped. If it’s disappearing unexpectedly, here are a few things to check:

  1. Ensure the timer is started properly – Only board editors can start a timer, and all participants should see it if they have the board open.
  2. Check if someone is stopping it – Any board editor can stop the timer, which may cause it to disappear.
  3. Refresh the board – If the timer disappears due to a possible bug, refreshing the board may help.
  4. Try a different browser or app version – If the issue persists, test on another browser or the Miro desktop app.

If the problem continues, consider reporting it to Miro Support here. Let us know if this helps!

Thank you for your response. Do you know of a free timer app I could download that gives better control options?

That's a frustrating issue with the timer disappearing! I've had similar problems with timing tools. For keeping track of time across different zones, I sometimes use a world clock feature, which helps me stay on schedule without losing track.
