The board I am sharing publicly and give visitor editing access include a timeline widget in timeline and data table view. The visitors without a team account cannot see the timeline and data table. The widget says they do not have the permission to access it. ( See screenshot). How can I publish the content?

Hi @Katharina Jockenhöfer, thanks for flagging this!

When a Timeline or Table widget is linked from another board (e.g., copied via "Link to object" or inserted as a Smart Link), visitors won't be able to access it unless they also have access to the original board where the widget lives.

That "Request Access" message usually appears when:

  • The Table/Timeline is stored on another board that hasn't been shared with the same access.

  • The visitor is not a team member and can't open or retrieve content from private boards.

To fix this:
1. Make sure the Table or Timeline is created directly on the public board, not linked from another.
2. Or, if it must come from another board, ensure that board is also set to public with visitor access.

Hope this helps!
