Question

The system added new boards that I can't delete

Hello! I use a free plan with which I can create and use 3 boards for free. A couple of days ago the system created a bunch of boards and my boards were blocked, now I can only view them, I can no longer edit them. Moreover, I can’t delete these new boards and it turns out that I can no longer use my own for work. What should I do about this? Because the site says that I can create up to 3 boards for FREE, but now the only way out is to purchase a paid version. Maybe someone has already encountered this problem, I will be glad for answer!

Was it helpful?

@Sasha Selivanova The Free Plan supports 3 editable boards for the entire team and not for each team member. You cannot delete these other boards because you are not the board owner.

Your options:

  1. Purchase a subscription – As Miro states, you can purchase a subscription and create unlimited boards. Since you have at least one other team member (i.e., “Juliia”), you should:
    1. Create a new paid team by going to www.miro.com/priicing
    2. Move your boards to the new team.
    3. Leave the old team.
  2. Remove other team members from your Free Plan team – If you truly are an owner of the Free Plan team, you will be a Team Admin and could remove all other members, therefore taking ownership of the boards in the process, at which point you can now delete them. NOTE: If you do this, all other team members will lose access to all boards in this team.
