I tried to sign up with my educational email, however it did not work.

 

I tried to delete the account to recreate, but now I am receiving this message. How to proceed?

I have tried:
Incognito browser

Clearing cache

Changing the email of the original account.

Sorry you’re running into this—it sounds like the account is stuck in an incomplete or locked state after the initial signup attempt.

Here are a few things you can try to resolve it:

  1. Wait and retry
    Sometimes deletion or email changes take a bit of time to fully process on the backend. Give it 15–30 minutes (or up to a few hours) and try signing up again with your educational email.

  2. Check for partial account recovery
    Instead of creating a new account, try using the “Forgot Password” option with your educational email. If the system still recognizes it, you may be able to recover and complete the setup.

  3. Use a different email temporarily
    If your edu email is still blocked, try signing up with another email first. Once inside the account, you can attempt to change it back to your educational email later.

  4. Verify email domain restrictions
    Some platforms only accept specific educational domains. Double-check that your institution’s email domain is supported and entered correctly (no typos, correct format).

  5. Contact support (recommended)
    Since you’ve already tried incognito, cache clearing, and changing the email, this is likely a backend issue. Reach out to support and include:

  • The educational email you tried to use

  • The exact error message you’re seeing

  • A brief list of troubleshooting steps you’ve already attempted

They should be able to manually reset or release the email/account for you.
